No, I've never seen that, I've never seen anyone drive thier garbage out to the curb and bang the hell out of it with a stick.

(Nine Inch Nails - Into the Void)

Royal Mail suck. My delivery is now almost a week overdue and goddammit I'm getting impatient!I've ordered HST's latest offering and the TPB of the superb Formerly Known as Justice League and I WANT TO READ THEM!!!

Continuing with reading, I'd like to recommend a comic to the roughly zero people reading this: Identity Crisis. "But we don't read comics," nobody exclaims. Well read this one, because its not you're typical superhero comic, its a well written murder mystery that just happens to have superheroes in it, take them out and the story could fit the mold for any group of characters. Thus far its also focused on what some would consider "second string" heroes which makes it easier to get into rather than having the audience wonder why Superman doesn't just put everything right as usual.

For films, I'd recommend Hellboy. Not that its reinventing the wheel or anything, it misses several opportunities to put it into that "must see" category, but its still one of the better popcorn outings this year, it sure as hell aint no Catwoman! Ron Pearlman continues to be a legend in his own right, happily settling into a fairly hokey role and making it his own. The rest of the cast are pretty thin and don't get much attention in the film. David Hyde-Pierce's fishdude really needed more screentime since, with the powers he displays, the audience (or at least me) are left pondering why he is absent so much and why he doesn't use his powers to the fullest. The ending is also a bit anti-climactic and doesn't actually feature what were an interesting trio of villains (in fact one of them, an unaging, undying Nazi woman doesn't really feature in the film period). In it's favour though, this film dares to be different and, judging by box office figures, it paid off. I mean who doesn't want to see a big red demon take on a masochistic, self-mutilating, clockwork Nazi zombie with sand for blood?

Well thats all for now. I've been batting about a script idea and I'm gonna try and put more ideas down on paper.

Why haven't I seen the film Theif?
