Ever feel like you lack a purpose in life? I've been feeling that way for a couple of years now but recently its become more acute. Maybe its my advancing years or maybe (fingers crossed) I'm at a point where I can finally get my ass in gear and make something of myself rather than wasting it all as life passes me by. I've not ruled out a return to uni but that's not in my immediate future, clearing didn't offer me any courses that appealed to me and I couldn't find any post-grads that would build on my media degree. Maybe I'll give the media thing one more spin, make-or-break, and see if I can get a foothold in the industry I feel I'm made for.

The moon outside looks beautiful tonight. Its a clear night except for a long thin cloud which is illuminated above the town. Greenock may be an ugly hell-hole but, every once in a while, it can surprise even the most hardened cynic.
