I guess irony can be pretty ironic sometimes

Life plods along, nicely... except I fell behind somewhere and lost track of it.

But more importantly, I hope you're all following the most important news story of recent weeks. Iraq? No. The education shake up? Don't be silly. U.S. Presidential Elections? As if! No THE news story is the tale of Boris Johnson MP versus Liverpool.
Johnson is the editor of The Spectator a publication which recently accused the people of Liverpool of being stuck in a "victim culture" where they wallowed in what they themselves pictured as a victimisation of their city. Now Johnson has been sent by his Tory Party overlord Michael Howard to apologise to Liverpool in person. Boris dutifully went at his master's behest but on arrival promptly went into hiding, presumably incase he was accosted by vengeful Liverpudlians. BBC news this morning were actually running updates on the situation but were at a loss as to his location, one reporter remarking that he should have been easy to find with his "shock of blond hair". I LOVE THIS, IT'S JUST SO INSANE!!!! NEWS SHOULD ALWAYS BE THIS BIZZARE!
Further to this I also noted that in vox pops with the people of fair Liverpool on the situation everyone cited the article as yet another case of people picking on the city and its inhabitants. AM I ALONE IN SEEING THIS?!?! WAKE UP LIVERPOOL ALL YOU'RE DOING IS PROVING GOOD OLD BORIS RIGHT!!! IRONY IS A BITCH!!!!
